The Edo State Special Security Task Force on Kidnapping and Cultism has destroyed criminal Hideouts in Auchi. This is part of the enforcement measures to tame the alarming rate of criminal activities in the state.

The destruction is coming after the arrest of suspected kidnapping and cult leaders in Auchi and the environs.

The Demolition of the kidnappers den is coming a few days after some buildings, owned by arrested Kidnap suspects, were demolished at Uromi.

Spokesperson of the Edo State Security Task Force, Eribo Enwata, who led other members and security agencies to enforce the demolition, said the mandate was given by Governor Monday Okpebholo over repeated killings in Auchi.

On the demolished hideouts, the spokesperson said the Edo State Government will develop it for the betterment of the people.

The exercise, according to the Task Force, will continue, until the state is free from Cultism, kidnapping and other criminal vices.
