The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, in the 2027 general elections, Peter Obi, on Thursday, set the stage for the kick off of electioneering campaign, accordance with the INEC timetable. 

Obi, in a national broadcast, relayed his intention of participating in the 2027 presidential election, and his mission to restart Nigeria to work for the interest of Nigerians.
According to Obi, "I entered this contest with one firm conviction: Nigeria can work and Nigeria must work.”

The NDC presidential candidate also highlighted why Nigerians should vote for genuine change in 2027, beside other issues of public interests.
