Senator Salihu Mustapha, from Kwara state, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He said the decision followed a careful considerations of the recent developments in the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kwara State.

Senator Mustapha said it took him weeks of extensive consultations and engagements with relevant stakeholders to arrive at the decision.

He said as a politician, he always believed that politics must be about people, principles and purpose.
