The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in commemoration, paid tribute to late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, who died on May 5, 2010 after protracted ailment.

National Chairman of the PDP Interim National Working Committee, Kabiru Turaki SAN, in a goodwill tribute, wrote:

"Gone, but not Forgotten.

"We mourn the departure of a gentleman, a loyal party member and a great leader, His Excellency, Alh. Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.

"He is evergreen in our hearts!"
