Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, SAN, has declared his resolve to stand firm with the Africa Democratic Congress, ADC, at a trial moment in the party. He expressed optimism that the trials of the moment cannot take victory away from the ADC.

Malami asserted that "The Harder the Challenge, the Sweeter the Victory," declaring that "ADC Kebbi State Must Rise."

Reinforcing confidence in the people of Kebbi State and loyal supporters of the ADC, Malami cited Chinese Proverb, which conveyed that "The gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials."

He also cited Confucius: "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

Malami, accordingly, declared: "Let these words take root in your hearts. What we face today — uncertainty, obstacles, and pressures meant to test our resolve — are not signs of failure. They are the very forces that shape strength, character, and victory for the ADC."

The former Justice Minister acknowledged that the ADC in Kebbi State is passing through defining moments. He, however, assured the party loyalists that there is no cause for alarm.

Elevating the confidence of party supporters, Malami said, "Every meaningful struggle carries within it the seed of triumph. History has never favoured those who retreat in the face of adversity — it honours those who stand firm, and the ADC will stand firm."

Malami declared: "The people of Kebbi State are strong. You are resilient, determined, and unwavering. You understand hardship, yet you remain hopeful. That spirit is the strength of the ADC in Kebbi State. Do not allow temporary challenges to weaken your permanent resolve.

"Remember always: the harder the challenge, the sweeter the victory.

"What the ADC is experiencing today is not a setback — it is preparation. It is forging unity within the ADC, strengthening our commitment, and refining our purpose."

He said that this is the moment for the ADC in Kebbi State to stand together. This is the time to prove that no obstacle is greater than the will of a united people, he added.

Malami further declared: "The future we seek will not be handed to us — the ADC must rise and claim it with courage and conviction.

"So, I call on every son and daughter of Kebbi State, every ADC supporter, every believer in a better tomorrow: remain steadfast. Stay committed to the ADC. Stand shoulder to shoulder with one another.

"Let us move forward with confidence, rebuild with purpose, and secure the future we deserve under the banner of the ADC.

"Forward ever with the ADC. Victory is certain. No retreat. No surrender."
