PDP Crisis: Wike Accused of Inaction and fueling the PDP Crisis
The Odua People’s Assembly (OPA) has accused former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, of actions capable of destabilizing Rivers State and threatening Nigeria’s democracy.
In a statement by its Chairman, Richard Olatunji Kayode, the group alleged that Wike has been undermining Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s administration through political interference, intimidation, and manipulation of judicial and security institutions.
OPA claimed Wike’s activities have worsened divisions within the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and weakened its national structure, while also extending his influence to other opposition parties.
The group urged the international community to hold Wike accountable and support efforts to protect democracy, transparency, and the rule of law in Rivers State and Nigeria.
