The candidate of the Accord party in the just concluded Delta state House of Assembly By-election in Warri South constituency one Princess Shola Daibo, have been declared winner of the of the election.

The result was announced at the Nana primary school auditorium at exactly 11pm in the night amid security presence and journalists.

The elected Accord party candidate said her victory shows her people was behind her.

Meanwhile, with the Accord Party scoring 1,293 votes, APC 247 Votes and PDP 30 Votes in an election of 69,000 registered voters, shows the high level of voter apathy in the election.
