APC leaders to reposition party
Governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have agreed to work with the leadership of the party with a view of repositioning the party for better performance. This was part of resolutions of the meeting between the party’s national working committee and the governors held in Abuja.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of kaduna state who briefed journalists after the meeting said governors are now ready to pull resources together to ensure that the Mid-year holds.
He said arrangement for the convention would be concluded in their next meeting.
The governor further stated that such meeting with the Party leadership would now hold monthly to ensure timely addressing of issues that may arise in the party.
Earlier, national chairman of the party, John Oyegun thanked the governors for honoring invitation extended to them and urged them to embrace the hand of fellowship extended to them in the bid to ensure better service delivery to the citizenry.
Recall that there insinuations of squabbles between the party leadership that hindered conduct of the proposed mid-year convention of the party.
