The Benue State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, hosted a high power delegation from the Armed Forces Command and Staff College Jaji, on a national Study tour to Benue State.

The delegation was led by the Team Leader and Director of Coordination, Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Brigadier General MA Abdulahi, along side members of Directing Staff and Students.

The Students were on a national Security Study tour with the theme: "Promoting Community Engagement For Enhanced Security and Prosperity" were received by the State Corps Commandant, Bitrus Alice Larai, who observed that Security is no longer defined by weapons and deployment but by trust, legitimacy, partnership and understanding the root causes of conflicts

Leader of the delegation, Brigadier General M A Abdullahi, represented by the Team Coordinator, Navy Captain A Usman, applauded the State Commandant and described her brief as the best so far.
