Northern Christian Association Decries Grief, Uncertainty, Fear Over insecurity

The Northern Christian Association, NCA, has decried the prevalence of grief, uncertainty and fear in northern Nigeria over raging insecurity and terrorist attacks.

The NCA condemned the ongoing attacks on Nigerians in Northern states, saying it is casting a shadow over Easter celebrations.

The Association lamented recent attacks in Jos, Plateau State, and other northern states where innocent lives were lost, leaving families bereaved and communities displaced.

The NCA chairman, Rev Joseph John Hayab, decried that instead of joy and spiritual reflection, many communities in Northern Nigeria are observing Easter in grief, uncertainty, and fear.

Hayap said the situation is not limited to Plateau State, with ongoing insecurity in Benue, Borno, Niger, and Taraba States, where killings and abductions persist, displacing communities and spreading fear, saying these must come to an end.
