The National Youth Alliance has inaugurated 123 local government coordinators in the south-south geo-political zone assigned to promote good governance.

The National Youth President, Ambassador Aliyu Abbas, who presided over the ceremony, held in Asaba, Delta state, said that the group is made up of aggrieved and agitated members who are not happy with the current state of the nation.
They are to function as defenders of democracy in the country.

Also, the Senator, representing Delta North, Senator Ned Nwoko, represented by Mrs. Ann Nwoko; and the lawmaker, representing Oshimili South Local Government Area, Delta State House of Assembly,  Bridget Anyafulu, emphasized the importance of youths in nation building.
