Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has affirmed that collaboration with the Nigerian Army has made the state safer.

The governor, receiving the Commander of the Nigerian Army Corps of Supply and Transport, Major General Danjuma Shagaya, at the Government House, Benin City, acknowledged the gains of the collaboration with the Nigerian Army in line with the recent busting of kidnappers across the state , particularly, in Auchi, Uromi, among others.

Major General Shagaya promised to continuously play his role in maintaining peace and stability in Edo State.
