Chief Of Army Staff Hosts Troops To Easter Party

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shuaibu, during the holidays, hosted troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE to Easter party, organized in Makurdi, Benue State, to boost the morale of the soldiers in the battle field.

The Chief of Army Staff reassured the people of Nassarawa, Taraba and Benue states of their safety against banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and other violent crimes. He commended troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE for their sacrifice in safeguarding the country.

The Chief of Army Staff, represented by the Chief of Civil Military Affairs, Major General MA Etsu-Ndagi, reassured troops of improved welfare, urging them to be professional and disciplined.

The military brass set forth to reinforce the troops of the Joint task force combating violent crimes, which include banditry. Kidnapping and Terrorism in North Central Nigeria. According to the Chief of Army Staff, "this occasion is to celebrate with the troops and boost their morale for all their sacrifices."

Major General Moses Gara, Force Commander of Operation Whirl Stroke, highlighting the achievement of the troops, commended officers and men of the Force, including other security agencies. He encouraged them to do more in securing the nation.
