Curfew is Killing Our Business, Comedians Cry Out
Comedians operating in the Delta community of Agbarho in Ughelli North local government area of the state have called on the Delta state government to either end the ongoing curfew imposed on the community as a result of cult-related killings, or extend the time to twelve midnight because it affects their entertainment business.
This is coming despite the arrest of over a hundred suspected cultists from the Delta community alleged to have been involved in killings across the community.
The comedians who spoke with our correspondent Dele Fasan who visited the community to find out the present security situation said the curfew is affecting their business which usually comes up at night.
A community leader who has been a victim of cultist attack said the situation has changed and will ensure they meet with the community leaders to call off the curfew.
It will be recalled that before the arrest of over a hundred cultists from the Delta community of Agbarho, cult-related killings were a daily occurrence before the community leaders persuaded the state government to impose a curfew from ten in the night to six in the morning.
