The Bayelsa state Governor Seriake Dickson has presented the 2018 appropriation estimate of 295 billion Naira to the state house of assembly.

 The budget which is tagged budget of stability and prosperity, is seen by the governor as a machinery to drive the economy of the state when passed into law.

Governor Dickson who was led into the hallowed chambers of the Bayelsa state house of assembly by the speaker, spoke on how the budget will revive key projects.

On his part, the speaker of the house Hon. Friday Benson advised the governor on the need to be proactive in the discharge of his duties.

The high point of the occasion was the presentation of the budget by the governor to the house, while the secretary to the state government and lawmakers watch satisfactorily.
