PDP slams FG over fuel scarcity
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers state has described the hike in petroleum price and its immediate effect of an increase in transportation fair as the Christmas gift by the Federal Government to Nigerians. 

Speaking while empowering the people of Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state, the Publicity Secretary of PDP in the state, Samuel Nwanosike said the fuel crisis was a calculated attempt by the Federal Government to punish Nigerians when they needed to merry.
 
He accused the federal government of disappointing Nigerians just as he encouraged the people of his Local government to ensure they get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) which he said was the only weapon to correct all the wrong in the current administration. 
 
On his part, the Rivers State commissioner for information and communication, Emma Okah called for the unity of all groups for the growth of the area.
 
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries expressed joy over the empowerment by the leaders of the community.
