The police have revealed the arrest of 295 persons for investigations on suspected offences during the Osun State governorship election last Saturday.

Meanwhile, 293 of the arrested 295 suspects have been released on bail by the police after screening. However, two persons still in the custody of the police for further investigation or prosecution, according to the police.

Security operatives activated effective surveillance during the election to monitor incidence of violence, vote-buying and others.
