Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced Professor Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate for vice president.

 The nomination was concluded last night after APC national leader, Bola Tinubu, was asked to shelf his ambition that nearly tore the party apart.

 A meeting was held this morning between Ogun state governor, Ibikunle Amosun and Buhari finally resolved the acrimonious logjam in the party.

 Osinbajo beat other candidates that included Governor of rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, Governor Adams Oshiuomhole of Edo State, and former Lagos Senator Olorunnimbe Mamora.
