Amotekun Intensify Crime Fighting In Ondo, Arrest 14 Kidnappers, Cattle Rustlers

The Ondo State Security Network Agency, codenamed Amotekun, has intensified crime fighting in the state, arrested 14 suspects for various crimes across the state, which include kidnapping, cattle rustling, armed robbery, etc.
The State Commander of the Corps, Adetunji Adeleye, highlighted that the 14 suspects include 9 kidnappers. The Amotekun Commander said four kidnapped victims were rescued without payment of ransom in two separate locations across the state.
He added that other suspects were arrested for alleged illegal possession of firearms, vandalism, theft of iron rods and motorcycle theft. A motorcycle reportedly stolen in Akure and taken to Ore for resale was also recovered.
Adeleye assured residents and investors that Ondo State remains safe, stressing that Amotekun would continue to collaborate with other security agencies to rescue victims and bring criminals to justice.
