ADC Consolidates Buildup To 2027 General Election
The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has continued to consolidate its buildup to the 2027 General Elections. The Party leadership on Tuesday, received the report of its Policy and Manifesto Committee, in a move to strengthen its position as a credible alternative party for Nigerians.
Presenting the report at the party’s national secretariat, the Committee Chairman, John Oyegun, noted that the body was set up on February 2, 2026, to develop a clear and practical governance framework for the party.
He stated that the committee, working through 11 sub-sectoral groups, examined key areas including the economy, security, infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, and governance.
Oyegun said the report promotes a citizen-focused system where institutions serve the people, the economy creates jobs, and leadership delivers results, adding that the next phase will focus on refining the document and producing a final manifesto.
Receiving the report, ADC National Chairman, David Mark, described it as a major milestone in the party’s effort to restore confidence in leadership.
He said the document reflected the aspirations of Nigerians across sectors and provides a strong foundation for the party to present a clear and credible alternative.
Mark reaffirmed the party’s commitment to service, accountability, and effective leadership, assuring that the ADC remains focused on delivering a better future for Nigerians.
