AAC Tasks INEC On Level Playing Ground For Parties In 2027 Elections
The leadership of the African Action Congress, AAC, has implored the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to provide level playing ground for all political parties in the country in the buildup to the 2027 General Elections.
The Chairman of the party in Oyo State, Kayode Babayomi David, made the appeal at the parties engagement with Stakeholders held at Women Development Centre in Abuja.
According to him, the leadership of the party has put its house in order to compete favourably with other registered political parties in the country. He noted that INEC needs to assure Nigerians that no political party will be given undue advantage over others in all activities leading to the general elections.
He disclosed that the party would not give in to any financial inducement or intimidating but would continue to rely on courage and commitment of all Nigerians, who refused to give up for a better country.
The Chieftain of the party said AAC remains a movement built on principle of resistance and determination to hold power to accountable at a time when many have surrender and lack courage.
Recall that the party had adopted Human Right Activist, Omoyele Sowore as it's Presidential candidate for the 2027 General Elections.
