Four lawmakers defect to APC
Four members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the Ondo state House of Assembly have decamped to the to the ruling All progressives congress (APC).
The four lawmakers are the newly elected speaker of the House,, Rt. Hon. Bamidele Oleyeloogun, the deputy speaker, Rt. Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, Hon. Ayodele Arowele and Hon. Segun Ajimotokin.

Declaring their intention at a press conference held at the Cocoa conference hall of the governor`s office, Rt. Hon. Oleyeloogun said the resolution to decamp to APC was borne out of their quest to attract dividends of democracy to their people.
The deputy speaker, Rt. Hon. Iroju vehemently declared that the People’s Democratic Party is no more the party that can cater for the need of its members.
Secretary to the state government who received the lawmakers into the camp of the APC, Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde commended the spirit of the four assembly members, saying their support will boost the morale of the state government.
