Two-term House of Representatives member, Leke Abejide, may have surrendered his fight in the African Democratic Congress, ADC, and defected to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The ADC had at its National Convention on April 14, 2026, in Abuja, expelled Abejide and others from the party.
