Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has joined in the mourning of Alhaji Rabiu Bako, an Elder statesman, and former Commissioner for Information in Kaduna State, who passed on at the weekend.

The Governor, in brief memorial statement highlighted: "Alhaji Rabiu Bako, an Elder statesman and former Commissioner of Information Kaduna State.

"He was a founding father of the Kaduna People’s Association, KAPA.

"He made tremendous contributions to community development, religious and political causes in Kaduna State.

"He was a man of honour and grace who dedicated the most part of his life in counselling, mediation and the promotion of peace and unity.

"May Allah grant him Aljanna firdausi, Amin."
