Southern Kaduna APC Stakeholders Supports Tinubu, Uba Sani's Victory, Pledge 1 Million Votes
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Southern Kaduna, have reaffirmed their commitment to party unity and pledged to mobilize one million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani in the 2027 general elections.
The resolution formed part of a communiqué issued at the end of the Southern Kaduna APC Unity Parley held in Kafanchan on Monday with the theme, "United for Victory".
The meeting brought together prominent party leaders and stakeholders, including representatives of the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Her Excellency Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe; Distinguished Senator Sunday Marshall Katung; serving members of the National and State Assemblies, council chairmen, party executives, aspirants and APC candidates for the 2027 elections.
According to the communiqué, signed by the Senior Counsellor on Political Matters to Governor Uba Sani, Ado Dogo Audu, participants extensively deliberated on governance, representation, outcomes of the recently concluded party primaries, and strategies for strengthening party cohesion ahead of the polls.
The parley commended the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Uba Sani, Senator Sunday Marshall Katung and other elected representatives for what it described as quality representation and purposeful leadership at national, state and regional levels.
Stakeholders also praised the President and Governor for what they termed inclusive and visionary leadership that has resulted in major development projects across Southern Kaduna.
The stakeholders congratulated successful candidates and urged unsuccessful aspirants and their supporters to put the party’s collective interest above personal ambitions in order to ensure APC’s success in future elections.
The meeting also commended Governor Uba Sani and the party leadership for creating an enabling atmosphere for peaceful and transparent primaries, noting that Kaduna State recorded no security incidents or petitions challenging the process in Southern Kaduna.
A vote of confidence was also passed on the Atiku Sankey-led State Working Committee for conducting what stakeholders described as credible and widely accepted primary elections.
