Police says no clue yet on invasion of Olubadan palace
The Oyo state Police command has declared that it is yet to have a clue into the shooting spree recorded at the Popoyemoja's palace of the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji, last month.
It will be recalled some gunmen had on September 25th, invaded the palace during the installation of some Baale's and Mogaji's by the Olubadan during which some people, including olubadan chiefs and Journalists escaped death while others were injured.
Speaking with newsmen in Ibadan at the weekend, the commissioner of Police in the state, Abiodun Odude revealed that the command is yet to have a single witness as regards the incident, noting that there are series of conflicting reports about the incident.
Odude disclosed that the command will continue to do it best in maintaining law and order as regards the Olubadan chieftaincy matter, adding that even now that the year is coming to an end, the command has reorganized it operational style.
