Ondo APC Expels Two Governorship Aspirants For Anti Party Activities
The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ondo state has expelled two Governorship aspirants on its platform for anti-party activities.
The expelled members are Jumoke Anifowose-Ajasin and Nathaniel Adojutelegan.
The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Alex Kalejaye while addressing journalists in Akure, Ondo state capital on Friday said the wards of both Anifowoshe and Adojutelegan had also suspended the two former Governorship aspirants.
Kalejaye said the decision is in line with Article 21 of the APC Constitution.
He added that the expulsion have been communicated to the national Secretariat of the party.
Recall both Anifowoshe and Ojutelegan had approached the court to challenge the emergence of Governor Akeredolu as the candidate of the party in October 10, 2020 Governorship Election in the state.
