Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has disclosed that the government would distribute food palliatives to 300, 000 house holds in the State.

 Abiodun disclosed this at a press briefing held at the Segun Osoba press centre, Governor's office, Okemosan, Abeokuta.

 

The food palliatives, the Governor said are Rice, Garri and other consumables.

Abiodun also announced the injection of N5 billion into the state economy in order to cushion the effect of the subsidy removal on the residents of the State.

 The governor said he was not unmindful of the plight of the residents, stressing that he is committed to alleviating the suffering of the citizens.
