Governor Diri takes oath of office for second term
Senator Duoye Diri has been sworn in as governor for a second term following his November 11th Election victory.
Governor Diri, was sworn-in, alongside his Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo.
The oaths of office and allegiance was administered by the State Chief Judge, Justice Matilda Ayemieye at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex Ovom Yenagoa.
Speaking shortly after his swearing-in, the Governor emphasize that his administration is ever committed in delivering the dividends of democracy.
The swearing-in ceremony had in attendance, Vice president Ibrahim Shettima, Vice President of Liberia Jeremiah Koung, former president Olusegun Obasanjo and former president Goodluck Jonathan among others.
