Nigerian Army Promises Higher Standard in Education

Authorities of the Nigerian Army have promised to ensure improved standard of Education in all the Army Schools across the country with the support of the Alumni Association. The General Officer Commanding 2 Division, Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Major General Obinna Onubogu and other Speakers gave the assurance during the official release of the outgoing Students of Command Day Secondary school.

 

Major General Onubogu, who was represented by the Chief of staff of the Division, Modupe Falana described Education as light and pathway to greatness in life. He added that this explains why the Nigerian Army insist on discipline and standards in all its Schools just as he commend the support and cooperation of the Alumni Association of the Schools.

 

Also speaking in the same Direction, the Commandant of the School, Lieutenant Colonel Olutayo Ogunranti, said the Authority will continue to give its best to the students just as he advised them to be good Ambassadors of the Nigerian Army and the School. The National President of the Alumni Association of the School lauded the contribution of the Nigerian Army to Educational Development in Nigeria but tasked Government at all levels to continue to invest in Education.

 

Also, the Guest lecture at the Event urged the students to cherish hard work and be innovative noting that, with these there is no limit to their greatness. Highpoint of the event was the presentation awards to deserving personalities and Outgoing Students of the School.
