IPAC charges police on professionalism
The Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has implored authorities of the Nigeria Police force to ensure high level of professionalism as preparation for the 2019 general hot up.
The Chairman of the Council in Oyo State, Alhaji Waheed Oyewole who made the appeal in Ibadan shortly after he led other members of his Executive on a visit to the Commissioner of Police in the State, Abiodun Odude says police has critical roles to play if the election must be successful.
He assured the Commissioner of the readiness of the council to collaborate with the police in order to ensure safety of lives before, during and after the poll.
The Public Relations Officer of the Council, Segun Ogungbayi says the body is not anti government but an advisory council of all political parties in the state and will continue to play it roles accordingly.
