Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has berated his detractors over what he described as trying to pull down his administration.

The governor made this known while swearing in another set of six permanent secretaries, less than a week after a permanent secretary loyal to the FCT minister Nyesom Wike resigned from his government.

The governor emulated some of the permanent secretaries whom he said turned down the juicy offer to destabilize his government.

He however said that the aim of his detractors is to whittle down his powers in bringing dividends of democracy to the people.
