Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has visited the Ignatius Ajuru university of education after the daily protests by students over infrastructural decay, accommodation and welfare issues.

This is coming as the students welcomed him with placards of different inscriptions, calling for urgent action in ensuring basic amenities are restored in the school.

Addressing the gathering of students and the governing council members, governor Fubara said his visit is for a first hand information. He admitted that his administration has not done enough in meeting the needs of the institution as he promised massive infrastructure development.
