The presidential candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, for the 2027 general election, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo for consultation at the weekend.

The Oyo State Governor, accordingly, opened the door of consultation visit to former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, South West Nigeria, which other candidate may follow soon.

According to Makinde, "... we visited Baba, His Excellency Chief Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, in Abeokuta.

"Our discussions centred on important national issues in view of the upcoming general election.

"We appreciate Baba for his wise counsel at this crucial time in our nation’s history."
