Yoweri Museveni Takes Oath Of Office For 5-Year Tenure After 40 Years In Office
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda, on Tuesday, took the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office, administered by Chief Justice Dr Flavian Zeija, at Kololo Ceremonial Ground for renewed 5 years tenure - 2026 - 2031.
President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has been in office since 1986. He was a military officer, and came to power through coup, and thereafter, transmuted into civilian president.
