Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State held a banquet in honour of Justice Obietonbara Owupele Daniel-Kalio, who retired from the Court of Appeal.
According to Fubara, "the event was in recognition of his unwavering commitment to service of State and nation."
Fubara, in a statement, highlighted: "Yesterday, we held a State banquet in honour of an illustrious son of Rivers State, Honourable Justice Obietonbara Owupele Daniel-Kalio, who just retired from the Court of Appeal.
"The event was in recognition of his unwavering commitment to service of State and nation.
"Worth celebrating is his impeccable integrity on the bench which is a lesson to the younger generation and a pride to us all.
"Hosting the jurist of inestimable value is our little way of recognizing dedication and contribution to the growth of the judiciary not just in our State but Nigeria as a whole."
