The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has raised the alarm over what it described as desperate and dangerous plot by elements within government to undermine and destabilise Saturday's bye election.

The protest which was led by former governor of kaduna state Nasir El-rufai on friday and other senior ADC officials accused government of holding secret meetings with high INEC officials from Abuja.

The party's national vice chairman north west jafarusani, alleged that the kaduna state government has compel the twenty three local government chairmen to contribute the sum of N30,000,000 each for election sabotage.
