The social media influencer, VeryDarkMan, VDM, led protesters in Ibadan, Oyo State, to Governor Seyi Makinde, demanding urgent actions for the rescue of Oriire Schools children in the captivity of bandits in the forestry.

VDM was not only demanding government's intervention but also volunteered that they will join the police in the search and rescue operation in the forest.
