The incessant fire outbreak in some part of the country has been the issue raised during the 10th national council meeting of the state directors of fire service across the country held in Ilorin.

at the end of the 5-days  paper presentation, the permanent secretary ministry of interior barrister Georgina Ehuriah arrives that, more technology needed to adopts for effective fire prevention as the technology becomes a veritable tool for the provision of excellent and effective service

she adds that government at all levels need to provide necessary resources that would make fire service in their respective domains better equipped for quick response when the service is required

she also urged personnel to discharge their duties in term of quick response without any delay
