Lagos State Fire Service from Sari Iganmu Fire station and Ebute Elefon Fire station, collaborated in rapid response to contain the fire outbreak at Polaris Bank on Broad Street, Lagos, on Thursday.

Fire fighters from the two stations immediately intervened on receiving distressed calls on the inferno which was within their operational jurisdiction, and the sight of the smoke in the sky could be observed from location of their offices.

The fire broke out on the third floor of Polaris Bank branch on Broad Street, Lagos, drawing public urgent attention.

The Fire was perceived to have started from a stationary saloon car parked on the third floor, which serves as a parking facility in the 17-storey building.

No casualty or injuries was recorded in the fire incident, except a car with stationary materials worth millions which was totally burnt.
