Dickson calls for patience on Paris Fund recall
The Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson has said that the Paris club refund is not a favour from the federal government but a right which is accrued to states.
The governor made the disclosure at the government house in Yenagoa while briefing journalists and members of his executive council on the recent recall of the fund by the federal government, weeks after paying the fund to the state coffers.
Speaking on the Paris club refund recall, governor Dickson calls for patience among council chairmen and civil servants in the state.
He called on politicians in the state to play by the rules as his administration will not tolerate any act that will breach the existing peace.
The briefing by the governor is in line with his quarterly transparent briefing in ensuring that Bayelsans are abreast with the day to day running of the state finances.
