Benue Govt Promises To Prioritize Education.

Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia has promised that his administration will continue to prioritize education in order to create a brighter future for the children and the state as a whole.

Governor Alia, stated this when he received the Benue students representative from a public school who emerged winners at the Indonesian - Nigeria Bilateral Debate competition at Government House, Makurdi.

The competition was initiated by the presidency under the President School debate Nigeria, a platform for intellectual discuss, the Indonesia-Nigeria Bilateral Debate competition held last week in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Governor, who expressed excitement for the students feats, promised to pay their tuition fees of the 4 students up to their first degrees at the university and donated cash reward and gift items to the participants.

Meanwhile the Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, thanked the governor for supporting the Benue team to represent the Country in Indonesia.

The students were selected from three schools such as SUBEB-UBEC Smart School, Adaka, Arabic Junior School, Makurdi, LGEA School, at Owners Occupier.
