Facts emerged on Sunday evening that the suspected serial killer in Akinyele local government area, Sunday Shodipo, escaped from Mokola police station, Ibadan.

Galaxy News learnt that Shodipo was kept at Mokola police station after the court ordered that he be remanded in police custody.

But the Oyo State Police Command is yet to provide the names of those under whose watch Shodipo escaped and whether or not such person or persons have been arrested for appropriate punishment.

As a result of his escape, residents of Ojoo, Moniya, Akinyele and its environs are now living in palpable fear and apprehension
