The Rivers State Police Command has begun manhunt for the killers of Letam Kinee, the former Chief Security Officer of Khana Local Government Area of the state.

Hon Letam was shot dead at Bori by gunmen who immediately left the scene in their operational vehicle, after pumping several gunshots on his body.

The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Rivers State Command, Agabe Blessing, in a statement, indicated that the deceased body has been deposited at the mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while a full investigation has commenced to identify and bring those responsible to book.

The PPRO said, though, the deceased family is yet to lodge any complaint with the police that will aid ongoing investigations and facilitate the prompt administration of justice.

The police reiterated their commitment to ensuring that all those connected with the incident are identified, arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
