Synagogue Building Collapse: Coroners Probe Begins
The coroners probe into the circumstances surrounding the six storey building of Synagogue Church (SCOAN) which collapsed will begin today October 13th as directed by Lagos State Government.
Multiple witnesses on the coroners list include National Emergency Management Agency, the Nigerian Red Cross Society, Lagos state Fire Service, Lagos State Transport Management, and CMD Lagos State University.
Other witnesses include the General Overseer and founder of SCOAN, Pastor T. B. Joshua, families of the victims, an eyewitness, Lindiw Ndwande and the chairman of the Youth League’s International Relation Committee of South Africa, Mr. Rebone Tau, have also been listed as witnesses.
Synagogue building collapsed on the 12th of September 2014, killing 115 people most of whom were South Africans.
