China Cautions U.S. To Stop Military Action In Iran

China, on Tuesday, cautioned the United States, U.S., to stop military action in Iran.

A Foreign Ministry spokesperson, on Tuesday, declared that China respects Iran's "legitimate right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy;" and accordingly, advocated a stop to U.S. military actions in Iran, and a return to talks and negotiations.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Mao Ning, was cited to have protested, at a regular press briefing, that U.S. strikes on Iran "during ongoing negotiations ... violate international law and basic principles of international relations."

Mao maintained that "The Iran nuclear issue should eventually return to the track of political and diplomatic settlement."

Mao asserted that China will take necessary measures to ensure its own energy security.

Accordoing to her, "Energy security is very important to the world economy, and all parties should ensure stable and smooth energy supply."

 Meanwhile, Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in the U.S. and Israel strikes at the weekend.
