The Edo State Security Network has arrested two suspects with a large quantity of illicit Drugs at different locations in Benin City.

The suspects identified as Efosa Uyi and Stella Thompson were arrested with a large quantity of cannabis that they sell to users, leading them to become drug addicts.

Parading the suspects and recovered illicit Drugs at the headquarters of the Edo Security Network, Benin city, the Commissioner for Public Security, Festus Ebea, said the alarming rate of hard drugs among the youths led to the onslaught by the task force.

The suspects who were arrested at different locations, narrated how they were lured by friends to the illicit business.
