The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, CP Oyeniyi Yemi John, has continued to strengthen the Delta State Police Command with wide consultation and mobilization of component commands in crime fighting.

CP Oyeniyi, who succeeded CP Aina Adesola, gave premium to effective policing, extending participation in crime fighting to the grassroots.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Adejobi Olumuyiwa, presented the CP as having deliberations on effective policing in Delta State and Nigeria,in general.
Olumuyiwa commended CP Oyeniyi for his sterling leadership, denoting him as great asset to the Command.
