Robin Thicke Continues To Win Wife Back After Singing About Split
After trying to serenade Patton during the Billboard Music Awards with “Get Her Back,” Thicke attempted his performance once again during “The Voice” finale on May 20 and still heard no response from the “2 Guns” actress.
Thicke has been waiting to see if Patton is ready to give him another chance, but for now the singer continues to express his love on stage.
Thicke debuted his new single at the awards show on May 18 and kicked off the song by saying, “All right y’all, help me get her back.”
The lyrics to his new single included lines such as, “I never have raised my voice or made you feel so small.”
“I should’ve kissed you longer/ I should’ve held you stronger...All I wanna do is make it right... I gotta get her, go get her back/ I gotta treat her right/ I gotta cherish her for life,” continued Thicke.
While accepting the award for “Top R&B Song” for his hit “Blurred Lines,” the singer gushes about Patton during his speech saying, “Most importantly I’d like to thank my wife for her love and support and for putting up with me for all these years.”
Thicke had previously made public attempts to show Patton that he still wants to make things work by singing heartfelt songs during some of his concerts while on tour. Could there be a chance that the “2 Guns” actress will take her husband back?
It appears that Patton still have some affection towards Thicke and revealed to Vanity Fair that she will always have feelings for him.
“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers,” said Patton. “All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there - always was, and always will be.”
