Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has submitted the names of six nominees to the Benue State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation for appointment as commissioners and members of the State Executive Council.

The Governor, in a letter to the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga, said the nominees are to replace outgoing members of the State Executive Council and also fill existing vacancies

The nominees are Hon. Kuma Aii Yenge, Hon. Roy Ashirga Terna and Hon. Angwa Egbe Monday. Others are Hon. Elizabeth Onma Ogenyi, Hon. Solomon Iorpev and Hon. Nick Eworo.

The governor is requesting the House to give the nominees prompt consideration in accordance with its constitutional responsibility.
